Zakis Catering was born from a passion of food and a desire to bring fresh, homemade, Greek inspired dishes to Sydney. It is very much a family affair with the whole family having been involved in the business in some capacity at some point or another.
Head chef and owner Kosmas has been in the hospitality game for over 30 years, having worked in a variety of kitchens, as well as owning his own businesses since his arrival to Australia in 1985. His love of cooking is evident when tasting his dishes, the secret ingredient if you ask him is love. When not cooking for clients and their guests you can surely find him in his home kitchen cooking up a storm for friends and family.
As much as the food is the emphasis so too is the presentation and set-up and this is where the second half of the dynamic duo, Marina truly excels, not that she will ever shy away from the kitchen as she too is an exceptional cook. Venue set up and table décor, food and platter presentation, custom grazing tables or dessert tables, she does it all and more.
